Emmanuel Fragniere, University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland, Switzerland

 

Dr. Emmanuel Fragnière is a Professor of Risk and Crisis Management at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland. He has a background in energy economics and management science. He specializes in user experience design and the use of ethnographic methods to integrate the human factor into his work. His research interests include risk management, service design, crisis management, social innovation, and sustainability. He also uses his expertise to simulate crises for training purposes and to improve the resilience of both private and public players. Specifically, he focuses on developing service design techniques, particularly in the energy and tourism markets. Dr. Fragnière has published articles in academic journals such as Annals of Operations Research, Energy for Sustainable Development, Environmental Modelling and Assessment, European Journal of Operational Research, Interfaces, Management Science as well as Service Science and is the co-author of the book "Risk Management: Safeguarding Company As" with George Sullivan.
